Get Involved

Members are encouraged to get involved with local projects. Members are also encouraged to develop their leadership skills by taking on a position in the managment of the chapter. That leadership development can even be taken further to managing the state, national, and international organization.

Here are a few ways to engage yourself in our efforts to promote volunteerism, leadership, community and individual development.

Management Development
These projects include all chapter fundraisers and communication. For example:

State Involvement
Four times each year chapters from around the state get together to talk about their local chapters and socialize. In addition, visits to other chapters to help with their projects are organized. State projects include:

Competitions in public speaking, writing, interviewing, and debate
